| He's better than some people probably think, but with the slots being so limited, I don't think I can give him top 100 based on the material he has. | |

| I honestly don't know how i should vote for Mystikal. His first two albums are insane. Unpredictable is a complete 5 star album to me, and the best thing No Limit was ever a part of. I would vote top 100 easily on those two albums, but his last 3 are not becoming of a top 100 artist. | |

Yeah, he is definitely better than people think. He always reminded me of a southern Busta Rhymes because his style, flow, and delivery have the tendency to over shadow his lyrics.

| To me he has 2 classics/close to classic:
Mystikal/Mind of the Mystikal Unpredictable
Ghetto Fabulous is damn near close too
add two more very solid CDs and consider he is going back to 1995 making dope music and he has a strong case IMO... his lock up and lack of music for a while does hurt him... |

| Mystikal is not one of the top 100 hip-hop acts of all-time no matter what you southern lovers think....
top 400 maybe
his voice is waaaay more annoying than Busta Rhymes's voice and he doesn't spit the quality of lyrics nor have the flow of Busta either....
Shake Ya Ass...Watch Ya Self.....top 400 no questions asked...lol

| I'm going with top 50. I think his first 3 albums are all classics, and "Let's Get Ready" is easily 4.5 stars IMO. Tarantula gets a lot of hate, but it had some bangers on it too. Easily 3.5 and I don't think that should mar his career entirely. |

Fuck him....lol LOL! I expect you to be able to support your opinions. Otherwise, they seem foolish. I'm still waiting on who doesn't make the list if Puba was top 5 at one time too. We got KRS, LL, Rakim, BDK, Kool G Rap, Ice Cube, Chuck D. When was Puba ever better than those dudes? LOL! Stop that Dawg!

| I am supporting my opinions Terry, your just offended right now because I completely dissed one of your southern heroes and I'm sorry you are but to me Mystikal is not even in the equation for dopeness like that
AGAIN THIS IS MY OPINION TERRY...I do not have to write up 300 acts that I feel are better to support what I just said because it's the way I feel
as for Puba well as I told you at one time in NYC on many heads lists Puba was considered top 5 on those lists...I never said my list Terry I said in NYC at the time he was considered top 5 on many heads lists.....does that answer your questions Terry????????

If many heads thought he was top 5, who were the other 4? I mean NY is the mecca, right? They should know more about hip hop, right? They're the best to ever do it, right? Seriously, i have to question any regions intelligence that would put Puba above the 7 that i listed. secondly, I was on the fence about Mystikal so it doesn't hurt my feelings. It does irritate me that you talk out of your behind sometimes. There are not 300 artists/groups better than Mystikal, and if you can't support your ridiculous claim with a list, your opinion carries even less weight than before.

I've gotta say this upfront Terry, everytime you actually show me that you have a pulse and are alive I gain more respect for you, I gotta say that first man, now onto your further questions If you want to know how those NYC heads were thinking at the time then hop your ass on the first plane from Memphis and then head on out to Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Harlem, and find brothers who are over the age of 30 and ask them for their feelings on Grand Puba back in the early 90's and then you should get some honest feedback....and then get the hell outta there before you get jumped..LMAO! As for talking out of my behind about Mystikal, well I feel I'm giving my opinion on him and your struggling with that for some reason....it's my opinion Terry, I'm not writing a damn list for you baby, fuck that, I think Mystikal is top 400 at best, I stand firm with that decision, whether you respect my stance or not is not important to me...this is how I feel man...he's kinda wack to me..he screams too damn much..he's not a great lyricist, again all how I feel man...sorry you can't accept that!

LOL! I don't expect him to list 300 rappers just for me and others to pick a part. However, Powell arbitrarily picked top 400 to try to be antagonistic. If he really believes that, he should be able to support it. If he was doing it for shock value, he should admit it.

| Powell, If you felt comfortable saying that many heads said Puba was top 5, you should have known who the other 4 were. More importantly, you should have known who puba bumped from the top 5 too.
I certainly respect your opinions on Mystikal, but you know as well as i do that you threw the whole top 400 out there to get a rise out of certain people.

| Mystikal is top 100 lyrically, delivery, originality, impact on the south and style wise. The man held down No limit duing it's popular yrs and imo has no weak albums. Let's Get Ready is 4.25 to me and Tarantula is 3.5-3.75. If Busta Rhymes, Buckshot, CL Smooth, etc. are considered lyricist than so is Busta cause Mystikal was killing rappers on guest appearances in the south/west like Busta does in the east. |

| Mystikal is Top 100 IMO, he's EASILY the most talented MC that No Limit ever had, and he's more talented than most people realize. I own all of his albums up to Tarantula and enjoy them all, and he was relevant in the late 90's when the only Southern cats getting national love were Outkast, Geto Boys, Goodie Mob, and to a lesser extent Master P.
I wholeheartedly agree with Kevin in that Mystikal is the Busta Rhymes of the South, so he gets a Top 100 nod from me. |
