Yeah its an upgrade over Toney. Felton has seemed to regress over the years and was completely shredded in the playoffs by Nelson.

Late to the party, but fuck all this Lebitch James bullshit.....
He did what he felt was best for him, and apparently Cleveland felt like they owned him, like property.
Fuck that city...
And fuck ESPN. LeBron didn't ask for the ridiculous amount of hype and news coverage they gave him. But what do I hear on outside the lines the day of the decision? Lebron's egotistical, he loves the attention, it's all his fault, he's not a good player, etc. Fuck that shit.

what do you mean lol? he scheduled a time and place to be televised just to make a decision. If thats not asking for attention what is? He could have just came to an agreement which gets reported like every other player in the HISTORY OF SPORTS.

EXACTLY! This whole fiasco was pre-meditated. He planned all of that shit. He'll never be mentioned in GOAT discussions again after the decision he made because he'll always be Robin in Miami whereas he would have been Batman going elsewhere. If anything, he'll help put Wade deeper into GOAT debates.

I agree with Halfy. He did what free agents that want to move on did. No one burned Shaq jerseys when he left Orlando and he was one of the most dominant players since Wilt. LBJ Is a good player. Him leaving doesn't diminish that. Hell, at this point last week, the people that seem to despise him now were all on his dick because they wanted him on their team. CLE, CHI, NY, etc...all of them wanted him. He picks MIA and now everyone hates him for it. That's one of the problems with riding another man's penis. The second that man does something you don't like, you're left looking silly while removing pubic hairs from ya mouth.
He's not property and he proved it. He's the same player that had folks biting his balls last year. He just plays for a different team now. Dan Gilbert was calling him King last year too. Everyone was making scenarios and blowing hard about how he should come to their teams. Now everyone that isn't a MIA fan is hatin'. I fuckin' hate bandwagoneers.
Also, I may be alone in this, but...Felton sucks.

I think the main about what Lebron did that loses respect for him from me personally is that he didn't allow himself to CONTINUE to be the number one player on the team...
speaking for myself I know I wanted him in NYC just like a bunch of others did but I know I would have had more respect for him if he would've picked Chi-town or The Nets or The Clippers or basically anywhere else where he was still the number one option and really wanted to be placed among the true all-time greats....
I have much more respect for Kobe now then I did when Shaq was rapping about him tasting his ass.....Kobe has 2 rings as the number one option and that truly places him among the all-time greats right now IMO with:
Larry Bird Magic Johnson Michael Jordan Hakeem Olajuwon Tim Duncan Julius Erving
and many others all of whom are all-time greats and all of whom were NUMBER ONE OPTIONS for their teams when rings were being collected.....
as long as Lebron is on D.Wade's team then he will NEVER be the number one option and lead that team to a ring unless Wade gets hurt during the run and then we would see if he could do it then.....but even then unless Wade missed the entire season then we would never know if Lebron could do it by himself (meaning as the number one option, which is what all-time great players do especially in the star driven league known as the NBA)
as far as Lebron as a player he is still a very good player no doubt about that but I thought he really wanted to be an all-time great...I mean if your holding T.V. shows to announce your decision to become a second fiddle player on the team your moving on too, then IMO your a complete cornball and have extremely small nuts....you have no self confidence, but your ego is blown way the fuck up, with your ringless ass...I mean with all of that hype you would've thought Duncan or Kobe-guys with hardware were moving from one team to another.....it's over though....congrats to the Miami Heat fans...not the bandwagon dudes hopping on their collective balls since Thursday night

The point Powell just made is the point I've been trying to make all along, Lebitch will NEVER be the top dog on the Heat. He's Robin to Wade's Batman and will be that his entire career if he spends the rest of it in Miami. That will eliminate him from any future GOAT discussions. That's not to say that he isn't a great player, but he'll never come within sniffing distance of MJ's GOAT status.
As for Norf's blabber, if the Wiz were in the running for getting Lebitch he'd feel the exact same way that Knicks, Bulls, and Cavs fans felt after he made his decision.

lol @ blabber
Apparently the shoe fit. I wasn't addressing anyone in particular. Quit letting Terry pull your strings, puppet.
Anyway, what I said is still true. LeBron isn't anyone's property and he proved it. I'm not a LeBron fan at all, but I understand why he did what he did. KJ is pissy because dude didn't go to NY. So fuckin' what? According to him, every free agent available iss going to NY.
Anyway, I've maintained that LeBron isn't a clutch player from day 1. Anyone that missed that either had stars in their eyes or his dick in their mouth. He hasn't been a #1 since he set foot in the league. And even a #1 needs a highly talented #2 which he never had. The closest he has come until this point was Carlos Boozer. Front if you must, but MJ had Scottie. Magic had the all time leading scorer in NBA history. You cry about a lack of parody, but in this league, you need at least 3 superstars to win the title nowadays. What we have here are simply the newest set.
And if Washington had the money to snag him, I wouldn't be crying about it if he didn't come. I don't live through his decision. As a matter of fact, I couldn't care any less. I'm focused on Wall getting ROY. Maybe you should focus on what the Knicks do have and not what they don't. Dudes on here frontin' like they don't care but there's salt all up in ya posts.
He ain't in NY...deal with it...

I totally disagree about Lebron not being a clutch player....dude is 25 years old so he's still learning his craft but to say that he is not a number one and not a clutch player sounds unaware to me...shit it sounds fuckin clueless....
Lebron was made to be a number one player who turned himself with this decision into a number 2....he made himself Paul Gasol....Scottie Pippen.....both of whom are great players in their own right...especially Pippen whose a Hall Of Famer but JORDAN was always the NUMBER ONE option on the Bulls teams of the 90's.....
Lebron certainly has the talent to be an outright number one player easily....but does he have the HEART??? by this decsion I would say know...and to say he made this decision to show that nobody controls him sounds like something you would say when your wife/girl says no more going to the strip clubs and then you go ahead and go to one anyway screaming "NOBODY CONTROLS ME WOMAN"......but this isn't something you use as a credo when your trying to make a statement about being one of the all-time greats to ever play the game of basketball....this is something that a guy with not much heart nor balls would do...it's called hiding behind the next dude....that way if the chips don't fall your way you have some else who can share the blame...but Lebron ya fucked up my dude because Wade is already a made man in Miami..you will be the only one getting the blame down there my friend...ya dumb ass should've stayed a number 1 guy and said FUCK IT...my talent allows this and this is the way it's gotta be.....only those with small nuts and tight ass briefs can't understand this way of thinking!!!! why be a number 2 when ya ass is already a number 1????
C'MON SON GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!!

You really gonna act like you don't know what I mean right now? Seriously?
Okay...let me break down to baby food...
LeBron's talents are that of a #1 player. LeBron's mind is not that of a #1 player. Did you not watch his last game as a Cavalier? He looked like a deer in headlights. THAT is why he needs Wade and Bosh. He's not clutch. Period. You never saw Kobe or MJ or Shaq or Tim Duncan pull no shit like that. His age means nothing. He's a pro. There are zero excuses once you step on that floor. Dude hasn't won anything. When the heat is on, he turns the ball over. He doesn't make teammates better. He doesn't want the weight.
Do you think Kobe, Jordan, or even Dwight Howard would go be a number two or play buddy ball for a ring? I certainly don't think so. That ain't a clutch move no matter how the fuck you slice it.
My point is, due to his talents, the world wants him to be a #1. His ball biters thrust all these accolades on him without him even earning it. He was getting blowjobs for free from the the haters that have now become his detractors when the fact of the matter is....he's Patrick Ewing. He's Karl Malone. He's Charles Barkley. He's Allen Iverson. He's Dominique Wilkins. Only his dick riders don't see even when LBJ can. He knows he won't win shit as long as he's a big fish in a small pond. Shaq did the same thing.
But now that he didn't go to where people want him, they take shots at his legacy. He's said from day one that he wants to win. He wants to be the first billionaire athlete. I don't recall any "I want to have the best legacy" statements floating around. Dude was quoted as saying he left CLE because he doesn't want to be "31 years old with bad knees and no ring". He simply wants to win. He left because he's not a #1. You need more than talent to be that. You need the heart of a champion and the will to dominate. Allen Iverson would kill for the last shot. MJ was a pitbull. You never saw that in LeBron. Dude ain't clutch and he ain't a #1. Even he knows it...

See again I disagree I can't call him Patrick Ewing yet man...or Karl Malone or Charles Barkley...it's still to early in his basketball life to do that yet...
Norf he has always believed he was a number one man....his nickname is THE KING and THE CHOSEN ONE, shit he has The Chosen One tattooed on himself for a more permanent reminder of just how nice he is...so don't think for a minute that he doesn't think he is a number one guy on a professional basketball team man...but due to this decision I admit his heart SUCKS man....yeah I'm sore that he didn't pick the Knicks but you know what looking at shit in retrospect, I see in the long run that he would have gotten buried here if he turned out to be Patrick Ewing the 2nd....his frail ego and small heart would've collapsed under the pressure, so now his decision makes complete sense to me...Lebron is as soft as cottonballs man...I didn't really recognize this until this decision...his heart is frail man.....

I actually agree. Pressure is why he left Cleveland. The NY pressure would've been too much for him without Wade and Bosh. And Wade ain't leavin' Miami...
And, again, I agree that it may be too early to call him Ewing. Thing is, he won't get to that point because he got the one thing those other guys didn't....help. He'll get a ring in South Beach, but it won't be this year.
At this point, I think Chicago has a better team than Miami. Miami will be a top 3- 5 E.C. team, but they won't make it past teams with good bigs like Boston or Orlando unless they get Shaq. At 12 pts & 6 or 7 rebs, I think Shaq is still serviceable and going back to Miami actually makes sense. The question is, will he play for the mid-level exception.

Lebitch is not a clutch player. He hasn't hit very many game winners and when the Cavs were trailing late in the 4th quarter, they usually lost.

Jefferson to the Jazz was a great move for Utah, he's definitely an upgrade over the Carlos Boozer. Provided they can stay healthy, I see the Jazz as a Top 3 team in the West.

Turk is washed up. Greedy bastard should have stayed in Orlando.
Jefferson to the Jazz is a puzzling move. He's NOT much of an upgrade over Boozer as he's tied with Amare for the least defensively capable bigs in the league. I like him as a player though so don't take that the wrong way.
The Harrington move seems to be the best out of the ones listed above.

Orlando didn't want to pay him, that's why he left.
I disagree with what you said about Jefferson. He's a shot blocker and rebounder and he can score. He's a very good defender and younger than Boozer.
Al Harrington is overrated. I like him as a player but he'll likely back up Kenyon Martin. I don't think that George Karl would use him as an undersized center.

He struggled a bit last year but he grabs about 9 boards a game and gets 1-2 stops. Plus the T-Wolves had him at center most of the time, the Jazz won't do that because they have Mehmet Okur.

Agreed he's a damn sieve on D. I love his array of post moves but he has regressed as a defender over the years.
Boozer is just as good of a scorer (at times) and is just as capable on the boards. He is younger and is now playing with a real PG so maybe his numbers will rise slightly.

I agree with what you're saying to a degree KJ. If they continue to bring Millsap off the bench then there will be times when Millsap and Jefferson play together and Jefferson will be the center. Also, don't be surprised if Sloan decides to bring Okur off the bench. They also picked up Raja "I clotheslined Kobe" Bell also.
