I see your point Powell, but with the Giants brutal schedule coming up, I can't see how they're gonna rally back with both Nicks and Smith out of the lineup. Other than Super Mario, the other guys are either unproven or average at best. They may win a few games, but the NFC is so tough this year (save for the West) that even if they finish 9-7 they may not make the playoffs. None of their remaining games except for maybe Jacksonville are easy. I'm still a fan, and I'll recant my statement saying that I'm not gonna watch, but my expectations aren't very high.

The Redskins aren't an elite team, but they're a team that you cannot take lightly. They've won a number of games this year that they weren't expected to win (Packers, Bears, Titans, Eagles). If they'd only win the games that they ARE expected to win then they'd be considered a better team. Still, they aren't a pushover.

Eli with Nicks in the lineup is 6-4, which is respectable considering that there's NO dominant team in the league this year. 1. The Cowboys WERE successful a decade and a half ago, but since then they've been an afterthought with only one playoff victory since 1996.

2. The Chargers play in one of the weakest divisions in football, and Eli has accomplished more than Rivers has in his career. Rivers has never been to the Super Bowl, and he's had better teams around him in the past than he has this year. Who cares what he's done in the regular season. If you're not getting it done in the playoffs, you're an afterthought. Not to mention that the only good team the Chargers have beaten thus far are the Titans, and the only other good team they've played was the Patriots. They also have losses to the Raiders, Rams, and Seahawks, all sub-par teams.

3. NONE of those teams are dominant. 1. I didn't say that the Cowboys never won shit, I said they never win shit as in they haven't been a championship caliber team in ages. Every year since their last Super Bowl win in 1995 the media has overrated them, and every year they've underachieved.

2. I never said that Rivers was a bad QB, I just said that I feel that Eli is better. Me saying that Eli is a Top 10 QB is more accurate than your claim that Romo is the best QB in the league. That fool ain't even close. Rivers has done some amazing things in the regular season, but until he can do it in the playoffs, all he'll ever be viewed as is a regular season QB. The Eagles aren't dominant, the only blowout victory they have is against the Redskins. The Steelers aren't dominant, they got blown by the Pats and looked mediorce against the Saints. The Pats aren't dominant, they got blown by the lowly Browns, and the Falcons aren't dominant, they lost to the Eagles by two TD's with Kevin Kolb, not Michael Vick, at QB. None of the teams in 2010 can hang with the teams I mentioned in my last post. They're good teams, but not dominant.

The AFC South is crazy, The Colts (despite their record) are still the best team in that division. The Jags beat them earlier in the season but it's not likely they'll do it again, not to mention they have one of the worst defenses in the league.

I will agree with you on one thing though, Minnesota should be an easy game as well given the way they've been playing. They'd probably be a better team with Tavaris Jackson at QB than they currently are with Favre.

Why would I bet on a team winning the Super Bowl in Week fucking 10? I look really smart not making that bet now that there best 2 WR's are out, one of which may be out for the season. Not being Tom Jackson or anything, but the Giants have got to get the running game going. Watching the Eagles' game, that was the offense's biggest problem. In most cases, you have to have one going to get to the other. It seemed as if they kept calling passing plays because the running game didn't look too good. With Nicks and Smith out, they will have to rely on the running game and the offense will have to be fluent enough to atleast have good time of possession drives to give the defense a chance to rest. If there are a bunch of 3 and out drives for Eli, the defense will be hard pressed trying to stop a team for 30-40 minutes of a game.

Bradshaw just got benched for fumbling... Jacobs sucks... Eli can't run... I don't see them doing much. The giants will miss the playoffs this year in all likelihood.

With Bradshaw losing his starting job, i don't have a ton of faith in that running game with jacobs as the lead dog.

Coughlin will get canned at the end of the season and replaced by Bill Cowher.

i wouldnt say the Knicks werent competitive the last few years, they were in a good amount of games and with D'Antoni's offense they were one of the more exciting teams to watch. The last 3 years including this one the matchup i have always most looked forward to is Knicks vs. Warriors

They'd be semi-competitive, but then they'd get blown out by the best teams in the league. Then there were times when they'd beat a good team one night, and then lose to an under .500 team the next. It'd drive me crazy.

They won the game without Nicks and Smith in the lineup. Everyone on the pre-game show chose Jacksonville to win. That shows that the Giants are still a playoff contender, and Smith may be back next week.

Wins aren't easy to come by in the NFL, just ask Pittsburgh, who just barely squeaked by the lowly Buffalo Bills with everyone in their lineup.
