| Luda & Diddy would probably be the only 2 to make it in. | |

| Lupe Fiasco (nope...it's still way to early for him to even be in the running, tell him to check back after his next 2 or 3 albums and then we will see) Ludacris (yes-second ballot) Souls of Mischief (nope) Pharoahe Monch (nope) OC (nope) Onyx (yes-third ballot) El-Producto (nope) Puff Daddy (yes-first ballot) The Coup (nope) Tha Alkaholiks (nope) Mac Dre (yes-second ballot)
for those questioning why Diddy is a first ballot hip-hop hall of famer, I would say go and do your homework on what he's meant to hip-hop music and culture in general and then comeback and talk to me.....I'm not saying he's always been a positive force on the culture but he has been a HUGE force nonetheless...the man had his own era in the music-(the shiny suit era)

I assume you're doing the same, right?

| Yes I am Terry...I'm including everything he has done throughout his entire career and that's why he's a first ballot hip-hop hall of famer IMO.....his inlfuence on the culture is just too undeniable for him not to be first ballot IMO
from the dress, to the "swag", the music, Biggie Smalls, Bad Boy, ciroc vodka, Uptown MCA, Mary J Blige, Jodeci, the east-west conflict, the shiny suit era, I mean this guy will certainly be remembered that's for damn sure....whether that's good or bad he's first ballot IMO!

| Lupe Fiasco - never... unless he somehow manages to drop at least 2-3 classics... Ludacris - definitely Souls of Mischief - not sure, not enough material as a group... Pharoahe Monch - another one with not enough material... or impact... OC - no, unless he gets in as part of DITC Onyx - maybe... big impact early, but faded, El-Producto - definitely should... Puff Daddy - auto The Coup - maybe, but most likely not, decent material, but not enough impact Tha Alkaholiks - maybe? King tee would be a definite Mac Dre - probably wouldn't make it, but definitely would deserve it like K-Rino

| Luda and Diddy are the only locks. The rest are either questionable or doubtful.

| Lupe Fiasco- Nah, he needs to drop a couple more gems for me to include him Ludacris- If TI makes it, than Luda should as well. Souls of Mischief- 93 and what else? Hiero as a collective would make it, Souls as a group would not. Pharoahe Monch- Close, with his OK works, but solo wise, not enough. OC- Nah Onyx- Maybe, they fell off big time though. El-Producto- Hell yeah, Definitive Jux co founder, a huge driving force for the underground, he's a shoe in...borderline first ballot, second easily. Puff Daddy- First ballot, end of discussion. The Coup- nah Tha Alkaholiks- nope Mac Dre- Third ballot, his impact was huge.

| Dogg,
What is up man. You seem belligerent and somewhat insecure about El-P not getting hypothetical votes in a hall of fame that resides in bizarro world. Chill out man we all know Nas created hip hop and is the only option that is objectively correct here.

| Lupe Fiasco - absolutely not, did nothing to further the genre and isnt even the top at what he does Ludacris - maybe Souls of Mischief - Hiero as a collective taking into account all members work probably woudl, not sure if Souls alone Pharoahe Monch - yes, easy OC - maybe Onyx - yes El-Producto - yes Puff Daddy - yes The Coup - prob not Tha Alkaholiks - maybe Mac Dre - yes, easily | |

Ludacris (maybe) Souls of Mischief (no) Pharoahe Monch (no) OC (no) Onyx (maybe) El-Producto (no) Puff Daddy (yes) The Coup (no) Tha Alkaholiks (no) Mac Dre (no) TI a shoe in, but Luda a maybe? You know what your correct. Luda's impact was heavy but I personally think T.I.'s discog is overall stronger however Luda is the better lyricist. I still haven't heard Theater of the Mind or Battle. Might not mess with battle. I think T.I. has at least 3 debatable classics. I feel Luda has great albums.

| Yeah, I see what you are saying....now that I really think about it, Luda doesn't really have a classic album. Great, but no classics.
I, too, didn't mess with Battle.

| Great album does not equal classic?
And Luda being a better lyricists than TI I do not agree with. Luda is not that lyrical to me. Unless just having punchlines is an auto count for lyricism?
